This fantastic new product from Joraform makes it easy and convenient to compost in your neighbourhood! The JK5100 commercial composter is an entirely new type of compost machine, with a unique mixing function. This fully automatic composting machine has a capacity of up to 100 households, a large restaurant or complex or even a hospital.
Fully equipped with a shredder, which is necessary for effective and rational composting, the JK-5100 Commercial Composter consists of two chambers which let the post-composting take place inside the bin, which in turn means that the compost is ready to be used immediately after emptying.

Robustly constructed, the body is made of stainless steel and all moving parts are replaceable for optimal working life. Grinding, mixing and aeration operations are variable and controlled in a programmable unit in the wall-mounted control panel, thus enabling the machine to be easily adapted for optimal composting of the particular waste stream.

For obtaining the best possible end product with perfect hygiene, the composter has two chambers.
All the waste is processed through the grinder before it reaches the first chamber called the process chamber, where the waste is treated and aired with a newly developed mixing technique.
After around 2 weeks, the mixing mechanism passes the material into the second chamber to finalise the ripening process.
The second chamber for ripening is equipped with a separate mixing function.
Energy efficient and environmentally friendly
An important part of Joraform’s environmental policy is to develop products that can be manufactured from recycled or recyclable material. The JK 5100 receptacles are made of 100% recycled household plastic containers.

How the JK5100 works:
What happens in the first chamber?
Waste is inserted into the hopper and macerated by an integral grinder before being ejected into the process chamber. Once in this first chamber, the waste is aerated and mixed with the incoming fresh waste by a newly developed mixing technique.
What happens in the second chamber?
After about two weeks, the mixing mechanism passes the materiel into the second chamber to isolate it from any further contamination with fresh waste, in order the complete the ripening process. The ripening chamber is, of course, equipped with an independent mixing system.
